Mr Warren Page
Fish Tale Adventures
I had a GREAT TIME yesterday. I have NEVER caught fish in my life. Every time I go fishing nobody on the boat catches fish. When you said you were going to break that trend you weren't kidding. You said the fish would start feeding at noon and you were exactly right.
Your knowledge of the lake and local conditions sure proved to be helpful in making our trip a memorable "adventure."
Thanks for helping me catch fish!!!!

- Highly recommend !!!!

The experience was excellent in all aspects; service, accomodations, and Warren's experience and equipment leading to a very productive day. Caught about 20, (not counting the 3 25lb carp, which were fun to reel in by the way) about 17 were keepers, a few just over 3 lbs. We kept our creel limit safely returning the small ones. I will be back and highly recommend.

- What A Day of Fun!
- Posted by Clayton Tillman on Wednesday, 30-Apr-2003 at 06:39:01
From the beginning of scheduling the trip to the departure after having a great day fishing on Lake Jocassee, Warren Page of Fish Tale Adventures offered superior service and knowledge. Facing the possibility of continued inclement weather we met Warren at the boat ramp at about 6:15 on Saturday morning April 26,2003. Warren had offered options to reschedule before we made the six-hour drive but remained willing to take the chance with us. With my 13 and 21 year old sons aboard we set out to catch fish and that we did. From before 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM we caught fish with 22 total and six nice brown trout at the end of the day. Warren and the boys hit it off from the start and we would have had a good day if we had quit at after 2 hours. Warren knew the game, the players and the places. We even got the bonus of a scenic trip the the beautiful waterfalls in the lake. Great boat, good equipment, wonderful knowledge of the fishing and super personality all assure that we will be back again this year. Fathers this is not a day your sons will ever forget and I can't think of a better place to spend it.

What a great trip! I have been on a few guided trips and Warren was the best guide I have ever had. Not only was he a great guy he knows Lake Jocassee well. We caught 6 keepers and 22 trout altogether the keepers were in the 2.5 pound or better ballpark. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting to fish this lake.

I fished with Warren in December and caught 7 brown trout and 16 rainbow trout. After a day of fishing we spoke to about a dozen other fisherman who had fished that day nearly all of them got skunked. Warren's boat was brand new and all of the equipment was in great shape. If you have never been to Lake Jocassee, it is a must see. Incredible scenery, great fishing. Warren was referred to me by another gentleman who posted to this site and I would gladly recommend him to anyone interested in a great day of fishing.

- Trout Fishin' with Warren Page
- Posted by Mike Hartman on Thursday, 01-Nov-2001 at 18:34:48
Wow what a treat, I've not been trout fishing in about 10 years until I hooked up with Warren who
was recommended to me by a friend. He took me out for an adventure unlike anything I remembered during my previous fishing trips. I caught my first fish of the day about 30 minutes after we dropped the line, it was a brown trout that weighted a little over 2 lbs. Well that was just for starters inside of 15 minutes I caught another one and this time it was a 4 lb. 14 oz. monster, well to me it was because it was the biggest fish I had ever caught. In just a few minutes another strike, this one was another 4 pounder. By 9:45 we had 4 nice trout in the boat and no thanks to me the biggest one of the day got away, well thats my "fish tale" anyway. To cap off the trip it was nearing the end of October and the leaves were turning color the morning fog on the water and a beautiful sunrise made the entire trip one that I will never forget and the fishin' wasn't to bad either. I would not hesitate to recommend "Fish Tale Adventures" to anyone who loves to fish.

- Trout Fishing

I had been talking with my 9 year old son about how much fun the outdoors were and how beautiful Lake Jocassee is and the biggest treat being the trout fishing. When I told him that it would be this winter before I could take him because the fish would be too deep.....well he would have none of that so I did some investagating and hooked up with Warren Page and FishTale adventures. Being early August and the temp. some 90 degrees I was a little skeptical but my son was ready so we went. We met Warren at sunrise and off we went. The equipment Warren used was very modern and well maintained. The boat had ample room for us and could have easily accommadated a third person. We were fishing almost immediantly at 90 feet using downriggers. By 8:00 A.M. me son bagged his first fish,an almost 4lb Rianbow Trout!!! By noon we caught two more rainbows in excess of three pounds and lost another. Warren then took us on a tour of the lake showing us waterfalls and other wildlife. I must say it was quite the outting and I would recommend his services to everyone. I will be going back this fall, who said trout fishing is a cold weather sport anyway?! JB

I had the chance to do some fishing while on vacation in South Carolina this past July. Being from Florida the chance of catching large brown trout was very appealing. After setting up the trip via the internet, I was excited and looking forward to a great day of fishing. I was met at the dock at dawn by my guide Warren Page. First impressions are important to me, especially when using a guide service. I was very impressed with the state of the art equipment that Warren used. The boat is very spacious and could probable handle up to 3 other people very comfortable. Lake Jocasse is a very large and deep lake and his boat is equipped to get around every part of it quickly, quitely and safely. I was also very impressed with Warrens knowledge of his equipment, his surroundings and most importantly the fish. We started fishing right away and almost immediately we were into fish. Being from Florida and fishing saltwater offshore, I was familiar with using down riggers but I had never fished with them in fresh water. Wow, What A Trip!! We boated three brown trout between 3 and 5 pounds, we also caught two giant carp that where over 20 pounds each. These fish impressed me with how hard they fought. I now refer to them as fresh water redfish. While fishing, Warren took the time to point out all the special spots and natural wildlife that is so abundant on this lake. I'm a sales professional and will definately use this guide service again for personal trips as well as entertaining clients. As a matter of fact, I have already booked a trip in the Fall to take my father fishing. Anybody regardless of ther age or skill level will enjoy a day on Lake Jocasse fishing with Warren and FishTales Adventures. BT.
