Have been going to Green Island for about 5 years now and LOVE it. There ARE World Record Muskie swimming in this lake, and the smallmouth and pike fishing are exciting. Want a change of pace "Lake Trout" bite readily and are a challenge on light tackle.
While the Walleye population in the lake is extremely small, they can be monsters. I caught a 14+ pounder about 200 yards out from the lodge over a weed bed.
The food and the people can not be beaten.
Claudette and Mike are great hosts, and cook a mean home made bread. The whole Korzinski family puts on a great spread. The guides are expert, and can put you on the fish.

I have been going to Green Island with my father since I was a small boy, and am now taking my own son there every year (see Fishhoo's Photo Gallery for some pics of our 2001 trip). The lodge offers great fishing, warm, comfortable cabins, and the very fair pricing. Claudette's home-style meals are terrific, too! I would highly recommend Green Island Lodge to anyone looking for a memorable wilderness fishing trip, especially father-son pairs.
Sincerely,
