Fly Anglers Online is a good site for information if you can get by the way the administrators run it. The do as I say and post as I say mentality has run off more than a few members. Disagree with the administrators and make your opinion known and you will be banished from posting. Like I said, the site is very good with it's information. How the board is run is a definite negative.

Looking at a book about tying flies is fine but when you look at this website, you'll find everything you need to learn how to tie flies. The step by step instruction is invaluable, most of those instructions come with individual photos. There are over 50 flies that you can learn to tie, from beginner to intermediate and also some advanced flies. If you are looking to learn fly tying then this is the site for you.
