SaltyDogAngler.Com looks like it was designed by a fisherman, with the fisherman in mind. It has excellent tackle, a great guide base, and awesome links to weather, conservation news, and almost everything an angler could want before they venture to the water! That ol' dog hooked me!!

SaltyDogAngler was there for me. I was in need of some fishing tackle and being on the road as much as I am, I had no time to stop at the local retail store. A friend told me about a new site and I logged on to SaltyDogAngler.com and was able to purchase my fishing needs right then and there. I also needed a new tackle box (soft) which I later found out was not available on the site yet. I then took a shot in the dark and emailed info@saltydogangler.com asking if a box could be bought. Thinking my mail would be sent to the great unknown (you know the same place your one sock dissapears to out of your dryer) and to my surprise within about twenty minutes I had a return mail from, believe it or not, the owner of SaltyDogAngler himself, Bobby Caskey. He had attached a spread sheet with a few choices of tackle boxes I could purchase and informed me if I needed anything else he would take care of me. My tackle and new box were waiting for me when I returned home from my business trip. SaltyDogAngler is my onestop.comshop. Thanks again

Had luck wade fishing for specks, Port Aransas. Caught some with the lime green shad with no cork. Others had luck using the crimson shrimp. A good time was had by all. Can't wait to go baitcasting!

This site is very nice even if you do not purchase any of the products offered. The news and reports were extremely helpful and clearly indicate that the folks at SaltyDogAngler know their subject, salt water fishing.

SaltyDogAngler provides a wide variety of tackle from rods, reels, lures, etc. everything you need to have a successful fishing trip. The conservation section (not unique to other websites) educates the importance of conservation and what is being done to perserve the art of fishing for our children. The guide section provides many listings of guide services from the Texas Coast to the Florida Coast. Lastly, the fishing report is execellent resource if you are planning a fishing trip,and if you have planned a fishing trip, make sure you know what the weather is going to be like by getting the weather forecast by zip code. Overall SaltyDogAngler is a top of the line fishing website.
