I purchased the plans and partial kit for the Lunkercam over 2 years ago. With very little electronics experience, I was able to assemble the camera within a few hours. (very easy to follow plans and directions).
Finding the parts not in the kit was easy with one trip to Radio Shack and Home Depot. I bought a very inexpensive TV with video input jacks from Walmart.(<$45) Earl was available for any questions and he accomodated my request for express delivery, since I was in a hurry to build the camera before my vacation.
Once built the camera worked great. I used it in Kentucky off the side of our houseboat. I connected the video jacks to the TV on the boat and dangled the camera just off the side. The original intention was to keep an eye out for some big blues, but my family got a kick out of watching all the different fish that swim by.
At night, the water was murky so we couldn't see more than a few feet, but even in pitch black the camera worked like it had a flashlight attached to it.
Since this time, I have used the camera for all types of things. Watching for deer in the yard, monitoring the babies room. It's fun to have.
I'm glad to see Earl still selling his kit. I whole heartedly recommend it!

As of Dec 2006 Earl is still selling kits and providing great service via e-mail. My monitor was only $4+$16 shipping via eBay
