Sailfishing in Costa Rica is outstanding. Sails are most abundant throughout the year, however during the months of late December through May you should expect to see many free jumpers and excesseive amounts of fish. Like Marlin, Sailfish are taken year round with usually about 5 to 15 fish a day.
